Review: Tresemme Nourishing Rituals cashmere touch hydrating serum

Here is a quick review on the Tresemme Nourishing Rituals cashmere touch hydrating serum. I have very thick hair and super hard to manage, I have being using this hair product for a few weeks now and I'm in LOVE with my hair and how it makes it feel and look.

I apply two or three pump to my clean damp hair. It is not greasy, doesn't leave a buildup, very thin not goopy. Makes my hair SO SOFT and smells great. I'm a huge fan of Tresemme Hair Products.
Packaging is great, comes in a 3.3fl oz bottle with pump.

I would highly recommend this product if you want soft manageable hair and budget friendly.

Summer Time DIY Face Scrub & Tips to keep face healthy

BeautyHunter:

Summer time is here and we have to take good care of our  skin. Below are some great tips on ways to protect your skin during the summer time. All this wonderful information and DIY face scrub was provided by Michelle Pino she works in a spa called Skan in a very small town in Upstate NY. She recently started reaching out to bloggers with the hope of sharing her knowledge with others. I really hope that this information is useful to all of you as much as it has been to me and I hope you get a chance to make the DIY face scrub.

Make your own natural ingredient facials for healthy and radiant skin without harsh chemicals

Spring and summer weather can cause skin dehydration, actually activating the body's production of sebum, which serves to lubricate and prevent moisture loss. The result of this is oily skin in need of natural, healthy exfoliation. Exfoliating removes dead skin and prompts your skin's renewal system revealing the fresher skin underneath.

Experts at Skana Spa at Turning Stone, a Central New York Resort, recommend exfoliating with natural ingredients such as pineapple, olive oil, and oatmeal, especially as part of a summer skin care routine. The objective is to avoid harsh chemicals and use all natural treatments at home; organic components make up the healthiest recipes.

Choose the right ingredients

Skin, from dry and scaly to oily and dehydrated, can become fresh and glowing with properly used scrubs, and the key is in using the right ingredients. These should not  be harsh or painful, so be mindful that all scrubs are not created equal and that different properties work better on your face versus your body. Let the expertise from Skana Spa be your guide to a fresher, more radiant skin from head to toe.

All scrubs aren't created equal

Those that contain artificial colors, perfumes, and chemicals such as isopropyl myristate and amino methylpropanol, can irritate the skin. Do you really want to treat your skin that way? There are plenty of natural formulas with almonds, sugar, and rice that are just as effective.

For your face look for:

  • Gentle exfoliants like fine sugar, jojoba beads, rice bran, or almond meal
  • Oats and honey to calm stressed skin
  • Crushed grape seeds to deliver antioxidants to oily, acne-prone skin

Avoid these abrasives on the face:

  • Coarse sea salt
  • Ground apricot pits
  • Ground Walnut shells

Tips for optimizing scrubs

Sage is a great treatment for breakouts, chamomile calms splotchy, sensitive skin and Geranium tightens and tones. Choose essential oils that help to meet the needs of your skin condition and be sure to allow ample time for these ingredients to work for your skin. For example, if you decide to use lemon (for energy) as an essential oil, leave it on for at least five minutes so that it can penetrate your skin.
Be careful if you have a sunburn, acne, or uber-delicate skin to not irritate an existing issue. As a general rule, start any scrub with gentle pressure, stop if you feel discomfort, and only exfoliate once a week.

DIY:Recipe for Sweet Blueberry Scrub

Ingredients

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 handful of blueberries

honey

Directions

Mash the berry. Add the brown sugar and a small amount of honey. Gently massage onto damp skin and rinse well. Make and use fresh every time for best results.

Honey has a natural anti-bacterial effect on the skin and its antioxidant components can clean up oxygen free radicals(worldwidewounds.com, Nov.2001). Blueberries are high in antioxidants and contain simple acids to gently clean the skin. Brown sugar is a natural exfoliant and a source of glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is chosen for facial treatments because of its excellent capability to penetrate skin and loosen dead skin cells (3dchem.com).

Review: L'oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation

The New L'oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation is my favorite drugstore foundation at the moment. I have hear many different mix reviews but like always I like to try things for myself.

The foundation is very runny but I did not mind, I'm always careful on how I apply any foundation. I really like the finish and the application of this foundation. I was very intrigued by the formula going from liquid to powder it was something that I have never tried before and I'm happy that it really work amazingly on my oily skin.
The foundation has a slight scent, it comes in a few different skin tone colors. Mine is 328 Sun Beige. If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my small first impression clip on this foundation. The packaging is in a very pretty glass bottle 0.91 fl oz with purple lid and writhing.
I use my clean finger to apply this foundation just like it is recommend to apply with.
The coverage of the foundation is medium but you can build it up. My face dose not look cakey is has a beautiful finish that last me about 5-6hrs.

I would definitely recommend this foundation if you have my skin type (oily)
